The Cape Buffalo is the 5th main animal on Big Buck Safari and the 11th main animal in the Big Buck Hunter franchise. It made its initial debut in this game and also showed up in Big Buck World.

• This was one of the very first animals from Africa to be introduced into the Big Buck Hunter universe.

• This is 1 of only 2 main animals from Big Buck Safari that have not yet been remastered for Big Buck HD, the other being Sable.
